Lori Gendelman

Lori Gendelman’s practice includes the defense of physicians, clinics, hospitals, and nursing homes in medical negligence matters. She counsels and provides legal services to license holders with regard to issues that may arise with their professional licenses, and she defends prisoner civil rights litigation.

Ms. Gendelman has lectured on medical/legal issues to attorneys, nurses, nurse managers, physical therapists, medical staff, residents in OB/GYN, oral surgery, plastic surgery, ophthalmology, family practice and cardiovascular medicine, medical students in bioethics, risk managers at hospitals, clinics, members of the Wisconsin Society for Healthcare Risk Management, American Society of Cytology, the Wisconsin Association of Medical Staff Personnel, and the UWM Health Law Class. She has served two terms as an adjunct professor in Trial Practice at Marquette University. She is a yearly contributor to the Wisconsin Society for Healthcare Risk Management newsletter.

Ms. Gendelman has served two terms as a District Committee member of the Office of Lawyer Regulation and was the Previous Chair of the Judicial Polling Committee of the Milwaukee Bar Association from 2001 through 2005.

Ms. Gendelman is active in our community with a number of organizations. She volunteers at the Schlitz Audubon Nature Center and the Milwaukee Art Museum.
