Matthew Nevaranta, who joined Otjen in 2023, represents clients in a wide range of complex civil litigation matters. He is experienced in personal injury litigation, civil rights litigation, medical malpractice defense, insurance coverage matters, professional liability, premises liability, construction defects, commercial disputes, products liability, and guardianship matters.
Prior to joining Otjen, Mr. Nevaranta represented a large municipality in general liability defense and civil rights litigation. His work often involved significant damages related to personal injuries, property damage and civil rights claims.
Mr. Nevaranta received his undergraduate degree from Cardinal Stritch University and his law degree from Marquette University Law School. While in law school, he worked as a law clerk at a mid-sized personal injury firm, gaining experience in all stages of litigation.Mr. Nevaranta is licensed in all Wisconsin Courts, the U.S. District Courts in the Eastern and Western District of Wisconsin, and the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals.
